I would love this too, a way for clients to download their package amount, and be able to purchase additional images at the same time without me having to create an invoice for additional photos or doing the back and forth of which extra images do you want.

This goes with the pay per download that someone suggested. This is a great idea not only for this situation but for sport/team photographers.
